Bolzano Art Weeks

Bolzano Art Weeks è un festival collettivo, plurale, inclusivo e orizzontale nato con l’obiettivo di dare un contesto – fisico e temporale condiviso – alla multiforme scena artistica contemporanea altoatesina. BAW si diffonde attraverso tutti quartieri della città di Bolzano e oltre con l’intento di coinvolgere un pubblico ampio e diversificato in progetti espositivi, performativi, installativi, multimediali e site-specific.

BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks è un insieme rizomatico e dinamico di percorsi creativi, di idee e di spazi che si condensano in forma di una mappa temporanea.
BAW è il calendario congiunto di oltre 100 partner che concentra in 10 giorni altrettanti eventi dislocati in gallerie, musei e atelier, spazi indipendenti, pubblici, privati e temporanei.

BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks è un evento di rete - aperto a tutt* tramite open call - realizzato in collaborazione con istituzioni, associazioni, operatori/trici e artist* della scena locale, nazionale e internazionale.

Un comitato scientifico multidisciplinare composto da professionist* nei settori dell’arte e della creatività, aiuta e supporta gli organizzatori di BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks.

BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks ist ein plurales und horizontal-inklusives Festival mit der Absicht der vielschichtigen zeitgenössischen Kunstszene in Südtirol einen gemeinsamen räumlichen und zeitlichen Rahmen zu geben und über performative, installative, multimediale und ortsspezifische Projekte alle Viertel der Stadt Bozen einem breiten und diversen Publikum zugänglich zu machen.

BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks ist ein rhizomatisch und dynamisch-dichtes Netz aus kreativen Wegen, Ideen und Möglichkeitsräumen, das sich in der Form einer temporären Stadtkarte kondensiert.
BAW ist der partizipative Veranstaltungskalender von über 100 Partnern, die in 10 Tagen ebensoviele Events in Bozens Galerien, Museen und Ateliers, unabhängigen, öffentlichen, privaten, sowie temporären Räumen präsentieren.

BAW - Bolzano Art Weeks ist ein im Netzwerk organisiertes – für alle über einen Open Call offenes - Kollektivevent, das in Zusammenarbeit mit Institutionen, Vereinen, Kulturschaffenden und Künstler*innen aus dem lokalen, nationalen und internationalen Umfeld realisiert wird.

Ein multidisziplinärer wissenschaftlicher Beirat begleitet die Organisator*innen der BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks.

Bolzano Art Weeks is a collective, plural, inclusive and open festival created with the aim of providing a temporal and spatial framework for South Tyrol’s diverse contemporary art scene. BAW unfolds across all districts of the city of Bolzano - and beyond - with the intention of engaging a wide and varied audience in exhibitions, performances, installations, multimedia works, and site-specific projects.

BAW - Bolzano Art Weeks is a rhizomatic and dynamic network of creative paths, ideas, and spaces that come together in the form of a temporary map.

BAW is a collective calendar, bringing together more than 100 partners for a ten-day programme of exhibitions, performances, and projects - hosted in galleries, museums, and studios, as well as independent, public, private, and temporary venues.

BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks is a collaborative, network-based event - open to everyone through its open call - created in partnership with institutions, associations, creative and cultural practitioners, and artists from the local, national, and international scene.

Guiding and supporting the organisers of BAW – Bolzano Art Weeks is a multidisciplinary advisory committee of creative professionals.
