Per tre decenni Martina Schullian ha custodito il sogno di aprire un bistro tutto suo. Un'idea che riaffiorava spesso tra il lavoro nelle serre, i tavoli di coltivazione e le tante conversazioni quotidiane. Poi è arrivata la nuova pista ciclabile. E finalmente, proprio accanto alla floricoltura, è nato un punto d'incontro per chi passa in bicicletta, per chi va al lavoro, per chi desidera concedersi una pausa davanti a un caffè, un pranzo leggero o una chiacchierata immersa nel verde, dando forma a quel sogno che l'accompagnava da tanti anni.
Una nuova serra in vetro si è trasformata in uno spazio accogliente, arredato con mobili che raccontano una storia. Tavoli, sedie e credenze provengono da luoghi che hanno fatto parte della vita della nostra città: la pasticceria Streitberger di Via Museo, il ristorante Telser di Gries, il ristorante Melograno di Piazza Mazzini e un caffè di Appiano.
Tra oggetti che hanno già vissuto una prima vita e che custodiscono ricordi, Martina Schullian ci accoglie per un Community lunch in un luogo, dove persone possono incontrarsi, conversare e gustare buon cibo, circondate dalle piante.
Drei Jahrzehnte lang hegte Martina Schullian den Traum, ein eigenes Bistro zu eröffnen. Eine Idee, die zwischen der Arbeit in den Gewächshäusern, den Pflanztischen und den vielen täglichen Gesprächen immer wieder auftauchte. Dann kam der neue Radweg. Und endlich entstand direkt neben der Gärtnerei ein Treffpunkt für Menschen, die mit dem Fahrrad vorbeikommen, auf dem Weg zur Arbeit sind oder sich einfach eine Pause bei einem Kaffee, einem leichten Mittagessen oder einem Gespräch mitten im Grünen gönnen möchten. So nahm jener Traum Gestalt an, der Martina Schullian so viele Jahre begleitet hatte.
Ein neues gläsernes Gewächshaus wurde in einen einladenden Raum verwandelt, eingerichtet mit Möbelstücken, die Geschichten erzählen. Tische, Stühle und Schränke stammen aus Orten, die einst zum Leben unserer Stadt gehörten: aus der Konditorei Streitberger in der Museumstraße, dem Restaurant Telser in Gries, dem Restaurant Melograno am Mazziniplatz und einem Café in Eppan.
Inmitten dieser Gegenstände, die bereits ein erstes Leben hinter sich haben und Erinnerungen in sich tragen, empfängt uns Martina Schullian zu einem Community Lunch an einem Ort, an dem Menschen zusammenkommen, miteinander ins Gespräch kommen und, umgeben von Pflanzen, gutes Essen genießen können.
For three decades, Martina Schullian cherished the dream of opening a bistro of her own. It was an idea that kept resurfacing amid her work in the greenhouses, the growing tables and countless everyday conversations. Then came the new cycle path. And finally, right next to the garden center, a meeting place was born: for cyclists passing by, for people on their way to work, and for anyone wishing to take a break over a coffee, a light lunch or a conversation surrounded by greenery and the dream that had accompanied Martina Schullian for so many years began finally to take shape.
A new glass greenhouse was transformed into a welcoming space, furnished with pieces that have a story to tell. Tables, chairs and cabinets come from places that once were part of our city’s life: the Streitberger pastry shop in Via Museo, the Telser Restaurant in Gries, the Melograno Restaurant on Mazzini square, and a café in Appiano.
Surrounded by objects that have already lived a first life and carry memories, Martina Schullian welcomes us to a Community Lunch in a place where people can meet, talk and enjoy good food surrounded by plants.
